Job Description

• Position : QA/QC Lab Technician | CHEMICAL
• Location : Tuas View Place ( Company Transport from : Boon Lay/Tuas MRT station)
• Working hours : 5 days (Monday- Friday,8.30am to 5pm)
• Salary : Up to $3500 + AWS + Performance bonus + 14 AL
• Duration : Permanent
• Industry : Supplier OF Chemicals & Ship Chandlers

Main Responsibilities:

• Supervise operators in performing the blending of chemicals based on customers' requirement.
• Ensure that production of chemicals are on schedule and manage blending & storage tank facilities to ensure minimum downtime, minimize wastages and safety compliance.
• Perform daily QC tasks such as in-process finish goods and raw material testing.
• Maintain and improve high safety and quality standard.
• Ensure quality of all products are well maintained by analysing work orders.
• Daily calibration of instruments and maintain good laboratory practices.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and equipment cleaning and maintenance
• Work closely with Production Team to ensure Quality Control meets Standard Safety Requirement
• Prepare/Raise documentation such as Certification of Analysis, Certificate of Quality, Test Sheet and Purchase Requisition Form.
• Update/Record daily, weekly, monthly data
• Perform products evaluation according to the company's guidelines and standards.
• Responsible for reagent preparations and conducting statistical quality control tests.
• Managing and supervise raw material, packaging material and production of the various chemicals based on customers' demand and job sheet from sales office
• Follow up with customer complaints, participating in supplier audits, attending the safety meeting and other ad-hoc jobs assign by superior.
• Supervise the upkeep of the blending sites to ensure tidiness and proper compliance on safety and health and environment
• Maintain and record the work procedure and requirement for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and GMP standard.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 year experience in chemical & marine industry will be an advantage
• Diploma level or Degree level
• Knowledge of Safety, Quality Control/Assurance
