The QA/QC Manager is accountable for the overall quality management of field operations. This role is responsible for all quality-related matters, including the development and maintenance of policies, procedures, requirements, and the proper execution of activities.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Review and update design criteria based on current industry standards.
  • Provide necessary recommendations to management to optimize the design efficiency per value engineering standards.
  • Prepare and implement the project inspection strategy spanning all the project phases
  • Management of external and internal audits on sites
  • Ensure the performance of activities in the field is aligned with the Company’s and the project’s established standards and specifications of quality.
  • Provide consultancy regarding all questions, queries and conflicts in relation to standard practices and procedure
  • Conduct investigations of customer complaints and non-conformance issues
  • Provide recommendations in improving quality including improvements in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures, defect management, and other policies
  • Review, devise, continuously improve, and enforce standards and procedures related to quality assurance and control
  • Conduct in-house trainings or cascade meetings about standard and best practices in the field
  • Document quality assurance activities including internal trainings, customer satisfaction appraisals, audit results
  • Regular reporting to key stakeholders on quality performance
  • Monitor and safekeep all records of quality reports, audit reviews and relevant documentation
  • Communicate with clients on directives, requirements, clarifications that need to be disseminated to Operations and other stakeholders
  • Manage the field operations firsthand when needed
  • Develop the team and its members
