Job Responsibilities



Oversee and execute the implementation of Quality Control (QC) plans, ensuring that all phases of the project adhere to company policies, contractual specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements Conduct on-site inspections and tests to evaluate the quality of materials, workmanship, and installations Ensure quality assurance (QA) procedures are applied during all phases of the project (from pre-construction through to final acceptance) Lead the execution of quality checks (QC) and ensure that the testing process is carried out in line with project specifications and regulations Perform site inspections, identify issues, and recommend corrective actions to ensure that quality standards are met Conduct regular training sessions and ensure that QC team members are knowledgeable about quality standards, project-specific requirements, and safety protocols Identify and document non-conformances or quality issues and ensure that corrective actions are implemented promptly Act as a primary point of contact for resolving quality-related issues, both on-site and with stakeholders, ensuring minimal disruption to project schedules Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality standards are adhered to and resolve any quality-related concerns or questions Provide guidance on best practices for quality control, working to improve processes and performance on-site Lead efforts to achieve ISO certifications and other quality-related awards, showcasing the company's commitment to excellence in quality control and continuous improvement Any ad-hoc duties as assigned



Requirement:



Bachelor's degree or Diploma in related field Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality assurance/quality control within the construction or engineering industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial role Strong knowledge of quality control principles, industry standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, ASTM, etc.) Hands-on experience in commissioning and quality control testing (e.g., materials testing, site inspections) Leadership experience, with the ability to lead and mentor a team effectively Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address quality issues on-site in real-time Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
