QC Lab Technician

Job Summary

The QC Lab Technician will work as a part of Quality team to support QC day-to-day activities operations. They will be responsible for receiving, testing, analyzing, recording, and reporting results of their run tests.

Roles and Responsibilities

Perform routine and non-routine laboratory tests and analyses in accordance with established procedures, protocols, and safety guidelines. Receive, label, and prepare samples for testing, ensuring accurate identification and handling in line with SOPs. Accurately record test results in electronic systems. Prepare reports and summaries of findings as required. Operate, calibrate, and perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on laboratory equipment and instruments, if needed. Adhere to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards. Monitor inventory levels of reagents, consumables, and supplies. Coordinate restocking and proper storage of laboratory materials. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Follow all safety protocols, including the use of PPE and proper waste disposal procedures. Work collaboratively with colleagues, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks. Assist in necessary stability or validation testing. Contribute to process improvements, and support initiatives that enhance lab efficiency and quality.

Desired Skills and Competencies

Must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Biotechnology, Life Sciences or equivalent Proficient in using standard laboratory equipment such as pipettes, centrifuges, etc. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document findings clearly and accurately. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Familiarity with GMP, GLP, and GDP is required. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision. Positive attitude, proactive mindset, and strong willingness to learn. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
