• Position Title: QC Technician
• Working Location: Tuas
• Working Hours: Monday \xe2\x80\x93 Friday, 8.30 am \xe2\x80\x93 5.30 pm
• Salary Package: Up to $2,500 + Transportation Allowance + AWS + VB (Up to 4 months)
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Report directly to the section engineer and/or designate
• Shall carry out all laboratory tests and measurements accurately in accordance with procedure and upkeep/maintain the instruments/facilities in good running conditions
• Shall prepare standards and reagents for analysis in accordance with procedure and ensure that all related documentation is maintained
• Shall perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of instruments and write the maintenance report after troubleshooting/maintenance
• Shall handle ISO Documentation/Raw Data for QA Department
• Shall accurately update internal Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts and monitor the charts
• Shall assist in training staff for QC Section-related activities when required
• Shall maintain and check inventory of all storage samples and ensure all relevant records are maintained
• Shall perform receiving of QA department purchase and ensure that received items and all related documents are correct at the point of receipt
• Shall assist in audit preparation
• Shall support the QA Section in its activities as and when required
• Shall be involved in near-miss identification and provide work improvement (QEHS) suggestions
• Shall maintain the general upkeep and cleanliness of the laboratory and related areas by performing housekeeping
• Shall strictly adhere to all EHS/QMS procedures in all aspects of the activities and observe line discipline and 5S
• Shall perform any other tasks as instructed by the supervisor, engineer, QC section manager and HOD

• At least a Diploma in Chemical or science discipline
• Experience with analytical instruments like ICP-MS, AAS, etc.
• Basic understanding of ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 standards will be an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools
