Roles & Resposibilities: Quality

• As a Management Representative for all Quality Management Systems.
• Evaluate / monitor current and futuristic customer business expectations and visit customer facilities as necessary.
• Continual improvement on company quality systems, safety standards and on-time delivery.
• Responsible for customers’ CAR or 8D report.
• Train and advise associates in all quality related issues.
• Establishment of acceptance test procedures and criteria
• Ability to conduct necessary layout inspections for sample submission (PPAP).
• Follow through on sample submissions involving initial samples, engineering changes, prototypes, and pilots.

Strategic Sourcing

• Develops sourcing strategies for key components, parts, or services
• Establish database and meaningful analysis on preferred suppliers and unit costs to conduct cost comparison and differentiation to drive better leverage
• Involves and monitors early supply involvement in key product/ project developments, using the supplier’s expertise to optimize quality, cost, flexibility, and throughput.
• Negotiate, establish, and monitor payment terms, to include the review, processing, and to drive cost reduction.

Requirements:

• Degree / Diploma in a technical discipline such as Engineering, or Procurement.
• Relevant work experience in similar role, including at least 5 years in manufacturing industry.
• Strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Self-driven with a growth mindset.
• Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment with a variety requests and deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
• Ability to converse in Mandarin due to correspondence with overseas Chinese counterparts
