The Quality Associate will coordinate daily quality activities for raw materials, semi-finished goods and finishedproducts by executing cost effective testing / inspection plan, and developing the Laboratory management systemto effectively respond to the variable business needs and technical queries in accordance to the operating andintegrated management systems requirements. Perform sampling, testing of raw material, semi-finished goods and finished products to ensure compliance with the Company specifications. Perform analyses using wet chemical and general laboratory instrumentation (pH, titrators, analytical balances, density meters, GC, HPLC and Spectroscopy) Conduct capability study for testing equipment's and laboratory processes in accordance with Company requirements. Carrying out validation, calibration and maintenance of laboratory test equipment and instruments in accordance with company standard to keep maximum efficiency in terms of results accuracy and precision. Conduct Periodic review of laboratory equipment's, lab processes to ensure operational fitness in accordance with Company requirements Conducts process monitoring testing activities during operations, and after changeovers and at designated intervals thereafter to ensure conformance to established specifications. CCP, OPRP testing and verification Prepare and submit periodic quality reports on RM/PM/In-process/FG performance/complaints/other KPIs Perform monthly lab safety audit and ensure compliance. Perform RM/PM/FG release in SAP after reviewing results Investigates and determines causes of non-conforming materials, processes and products. Provides technical assistance in trouble shooting when necessary and/or knowledgeable to the problem. Implements preventive maintenance of laboratory instruments through regular check-up and calibration to ensure continuous availability, as well as confidence in the analytical results. Utilize statistical tools and techniques in assessing laboratory results, Summarize data for management review. Evaluates and analyzes raw materials, process and product to ensure that guidelines and standards set by the company are strictly followed. Reviews and signs all quality assurance reports daily. Purchasing of lab supplies and consumables. Identify, classify, and maintain documentation and sensitive information consistent with record handling and retention requirements. Ensure cleaning and sanitation executed as per SOP. 5S/GMP/Housekeeping of laboratory Participating in In-House Sensory Program and prepare beverages and conduct analytical tests and taste or odor tests according to sensory guidelines. Maintaining Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs) of the laboratory. Manage retention sample for RM & FP Arrange samples for external lab testing Dispose of expired retained samples and chemicals according to schedules and expiration dates in order to keep lab area clean and safe Ensure the suitability of the workplace in terms of environmental and safety, and GLP requirements are followed.Job Requirements University degree/diploma in food science/technology or engineering faculty Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in food and beverage or pharmaceutical multinational organization's quality department. Strong experiences Laboratory Operation. Good understanding of Laboratory Operation and Manufacturing process in Beverages, FMCG or Pharmaceutical industries. Experience in lean/flat reporting line, but with intense workloads and high complexity of tasks. Registered Hygiene Officer Ability to organise and prioritise work to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
