Job Description

The Quality Assurance and Compliance Officer is responsible to manage and maintain the applicable Quality Management Systems at Curtin Singapore with good career advancement prospects.

Key Responsibilities:



Implement and monitor Quality Management System (QMS) requirements and procedures in accordance with institutional and regulatory standards. Liaise with relevant certification bodies and regulatory agencies on all matters related to QMS compliance. Ensure alignment with applicable quality assurance standards, policies, and legislative requirements. Conduct regular internal audits to assess compliance and identify opportunities for improvement. Execute approved QMS procedural changes and support their implementation through training and provision of relevant tools and techniques. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to embed quality assurance practices across all functional areas. Leverage programming skills to automate data collection, reporting, and compliance tracking processes. Support the development of dashboards and tools that improve transparency and real-time monitoring of quality performance indicators. Demonstrate flexibility and commitment to working outside normal business hours as required to meet project or audit deadlines. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head, Quality Assurance & Compliance.

Qualifications

Essential:



A recognised Bachelor's degree (or higher). Minimum of two years' experience in a quality assurance or administrative role, preferably within an educational institution. High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present and explain complex information clearly. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision. Strong organisational and analytical skills, with a high level of initiative and attention to detail. Willingness to work outside regular hours to support institutional quality timelines and audits.

Desirable:



Strong programming or scripting skills with the ability to automate workflows and reporting (e.g., Python, VBA, SQL). Experience in academic administration in the tertiary education sector. Experience in working with international students. Fluency in a second language/work experience in a foreign culture
