The team is responsible for implementing distribution strategy, driving the delivery of market leading personal banking customer experiences and thereby maximising customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Quality Assurance Manager. Principal Responsibilities Responsible for delivering the operations service quality and effectiveness within the SGH WPB IWH
  • Account Opening
    • Stringent review of NTB onboarding applications. (pre-account opening)
    • Understanding of bank guidelines and process for NTB onboarding \xe2\x80\x93 HR nationals, CIP, SCC, PEP
    • Post account opening review of KYC and maintenance approvals
  • Investment
    • Understanding of trade documentation checks for I&I documents
  • Familiar with the process and procedures and provide expertise and operational knowledge on all issues relating to operations to the Management & Sales Team
  • Have a comprehensive understanding and good knowledge about the range of products and services offered in SGH
Manages and ensures a good understanding of process and procedures and ensure that the operation services provided are in line with the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s standards
  • To regularly review Operation Service Standards
  • To raise all internal customer enquiries and complaints to Manager which will be shared as learning points with the team and eliminate similar enquiries and complaint issues
  • Ensure administrative service and support provided to IWH staff
  • Ensure IWH Account opening document submission is within the agreed SLA
  • Ensure accurate and timely approvals & processing of Account Opening NTB applications
  • To regularly read updates of SGH Products & Services, Account Opening
  • By participating in team meetings, sharing best practice, ideas and feedback with ongoing suggestions on the streamlining of operational processes to increase productivity and efficiency
Maintain HSBC internal control standards, implement and observe Group Compliance Policy. Maintain awareness of operational risk & minimize the likelihood of it occurring
  • Maintain HSBC internal control standards, including the timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators
  • Foster a compliance culture and implement Group Compliance Policy by managing compliance risk in liaison with the Head of Group Compliance, Regional Compliance Officer, Area Compliance Officer or Local Compliance Officer, ensuring adequate compliance resources are in place and training is provided, and optimizing relations with regulators. Maintain awareness of operational risk including its identification, assessment, mitigation and control, loss identification and reporting in accordance with the Group Operations FIM

Requirements
  • Degree holder with relevant experience in a retail banking environment or similar background in servicing high net worth individuals in banking industry
  • Good understanding of banking operations and product knowledge
  • Strong customer service orientation, with self-motivation and ability to work under pressure
  • A self-starter and good team player with drive for success and achievement
