- Perform wet chemistry (qualitative and quantitative) analysis on day-to-day basis efficiently and accurately in accordance to established specifications, work instructions (WIs), and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure that all incoming raw materials, packaging materials and finished products are analysed and released on timely manner.
- Perform analysis according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) requirements.
- Ensure that QC documentation and laboratory processes are in compliance with the current standards and regulations.
- Record results in SAP, and prepare QC analytical test reports in accordance to Good Documentation Practices (GDP) procedure.
- Perform equipment verification and calibration in accordance to established procedures. Ensure laboratory testing equipment and instruments put in use have valid calibration date, maintained and operational.
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment whenever required.
- Perform equipment qualification and analytical method validation / verification whenever required.
- Manage the control, preparation and standardization of reagents and working standards.
- Provide assistance to production staff where necessary regarding the Quality Control procedures.
- Train fellow colleagues on written WIs and SOPs pertaining to the equipment, test method and general laboratory operations.
- Retain and store incoming materials and finished products samples according to shelf-life/retention period requirements.
- Prepare product samples request from customers and samples to be sent for external laboratory analysis.
- Ensure that the laboratory chemicals / reagents and consumables are stored according to storage conditions requirements and stocks are within its inventory level.
- Ensure to maintain the orderliness and cleanliness of QC laboratory. Handle laboratory housekeeping, laboratory waste and ensure proper disposal according to established procedures and environmental regulations.
- Carry out other duties and responsibilities as described in the WIs and SOPs.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Quality Manager whenever necessary.
- Minimum 2 years related work experience in laboratory.
- At least Diploma in Chemical or any Science studies or equivalent.
