The role involves overseeing QC engineers, implementing QA/QC procedures, and ensuring all electrical installations meet project, industry, and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the QC (Electrical) team in executing quality control activities for electrical works.
Develop, review, and approve quality procedures, inspection test plans (ITPs), and method statements.
Oversee inspections, testing, and audits of electrical equipment, cabling, and installations.
Ensure all works comply with project specifications, codes, and safety regulations.
Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), corrective actions, and preventive measures.
Coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors on quality-related issues.
Maintain and manage quality documentation, inspection records, and test reports for audits and handover.
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to QC engineers and site staff.
Job Requirements:
Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical quality control for large-scale construction projects, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of LV/MV electrical systems, testing procedures, and QA/QC standards.
Familiarity with Singapore codes, regulations, and authority submission requirements.
Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination abilities.
Experience in large infrastructure or industrial projects is preferred.
