The role involves managing QC engineers, ensuring all ACMV and mechanical works meet project specifications, industry standards, and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the QC (Mechanical) team to implement quality control processes for ACMV and mechanical works.
Review and approve quality procedures, inspection test plans (ITPs), and material submissions.
Oversee inspections, audits, and testing of equipment, materials, and site installations.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and safety regulations.
Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), corrective actions, and follow-ups.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors on quality matters.
Maintain accurate quality records, documentation, and reports for audits and project handover.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to QC engineers and site personnel.
Job Requirements:
Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in quality control for ACMV/mechanical works, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of ACMV and mechanical systems, materials, and QA/QC procedures.
Familiarity with Singapore codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Proven leadership and team management experience.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Experience in large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects is preferred.
