Our client is a growing contract manufacturer in the Medical industry with expertise in precision components. As the company deals with multiple customer requirements in a high mix high volume setting, they are seeking for Quality Engineer to join their expanding team in Singapore.

The jobIn a contract manufacturing setting, you are responsible for ensuring product quality and compliance throughout the design phase and manufacturing process by working closely with key customers on implementing established quality standards, address quality issues, conducting inspections, and facilitating continuous improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.

• Assess and review supplier qualifications, performance, and process capabilities.
• Address, analyze, and improve supplier quality issues, ensuring follow-up actions are taken.
• Collaborate with customers on product quality, handling and following up on their feedback or complaints.
• Provide support for internal, external, and customer audits.
• Evaluate, verify, and validate new parts and samples.
• Set and maintain inspection criteria for incoming, in-process, and final products.
• Identify and address quality issues, manage non-conformances (NCR), handle CAPA, and promote continuous improvement.
• Approve product releases (COC) and review and authorize COAs.
• Conduct monthly analysis of product quality and assess quality objectives.
• Review and approve Device History Records (DHR).
• Participate in new projects, managing and controlling quality for commercial products.
• Lead and manage change control processes.

The Talent

• A Degree in Engineering related field with 3 to 5 years practical experience in product quality/design quality/customer quality/supplier quality management for medical component manufacturing industry
• Good communication skills to be a representative to deal with various customers
• Familar with general quality control tools, root cause analysis, problem-solving.
• ISO 13485:2016 certified internal auditor will be advantageous
