Quality Engineer (senior)
Job Description
Quality Management System (QMS)
Support the QHSE Manager in implementing, monitoring, and improving the company's QMS in compliance with ISO and customer requirements.
Ensure departmental adherence to documented processes, work instructions, and quality procedures.
Lead in conducting internal audits and follow up on corrective/preventive actions.
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):
Promote HSE awareness across the company and ensure compliance with established HSE policies and procedures.
Participate in risk assessments, incident investigations, and reporting of HSE metrics.
Support the integration of HSE practices into daily operations.
Vendor Management:
Act as the champion for supplier and vendor quality management.
Evaluate, qualify, and monitor vendors to ensure compliance with technical and quality requirements.
Coordinate vendor audits, performance reviews, and development initiatives.
Manage vendor non-conformances, corrective actions, and improvement programs.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors / Diploma in Engineering / Quality Assurance with minimum 1 year of relevant industry experience Proficient in interpreting mechanical drawings and knowledgeable in metal machining processes. Ability to interpret mechanical drawings & customer quality specifications Knowledge in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 will be added advantage Good communication and presentation skills in English (Both written & verbal) * A good team player, energetic and willingness to learn with additional efforts
