Ensure compliance and continuous improvement of quality and food safety systems aligned with internal and external standards.
Drive and coordinate continual improvement of customer, internal, and vendor quality performance through targeted initiatives and programs in cross-functional projects.
Assess the feasibility and acceptance of internal and external requirements and expectations.
Coordinate and assist in the implementation of change management processes and monitor progress.
Monitor quality performance trends
Review and analyze data to provide regular updates on food safety, quality, and service trends.
Continually evaluate and trend process controls, food safety, and quality programs, and recommend appropriate improvements.
Monitor and support the resolution of quality non-conformances by enabling in-depth root cause analysis, trend analysis, and stringent action follow-up, including validation of resolution effectiveness.
Lead the QA team
Ensure the alignment of complexities with staffing and capabilities.
Provide functional leadership for regular performance reviews, succession planning, and talent assessment and development planning.
Develop effective training and knowledge-sharing programs and manage the performance and development of staff to achieve organizational and departmental goals and maintain a productive environment.
Assure alignment and enable knowledge and best practice sharing.
Quality Control and CAPA
Accountable for providing quality assurance/control management and ensuring that the products supplied by the company are tested in accordance with GMP and customer/country-specific requirements.
Ensure manufacturing processes comply with standards.
Ensure food safety and quality products meet all customer and corporate specifications.
Ensure compliance with all food safety and quality policies, standards, procedures, and work instructions.
Lead investigations to determine root causes of material quality issues and initiate/ensure CAPAs are developed and executed at the appropriate level of the supply chain.
Others
Undertake any projects assigned by the supervisor.
Identify potential improvements to Quality Systems through procedure gaps, workflow simplification, and increased efficiency.
Review and approve key process validations during manufacturing process reviews.
Job Requirements: Min Degree in Food Technology / Chemistry / Life Sciences or similar w min 10 yrs of relevant Food Safety and Quality Management Systems/Standards experience
