The Role:

The Quality Technician works as part of the Quality team within the Operations department, reporting to the Quality Manager (located in Natick, Massachusetts, USA) and working alongside the Singapore Distribution Centre Production Supervisor. The individual will be responsible for monitoring and dispositioning DC MRB items in a timely manner and for assisting in and executing purges, deviations, and inspection flag activities. They will also support the ISO9001 program and assist in Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) in our Distribution Centre. Additionally, this position will work as part of the warranty fulfillment team preparing and shipping replacements to customers by collaborating with the Tech support team, Logistics team, the Repair and Quality Assurance, Operations Engineering and the global Sales and Service organization.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Respond to issues in the Distribution Centre that affect the on-time shipment and customer satisfaction, implementing the necessary corrective actions
  • Assist in the execution and response of purges, inspection flags, interruptions, CARs, deviations, material review board (MRB) items in a timely manner
  • Support the ISO9001 program at the Distribution Centre, including internal auditing
  • Support and facilitate continuous improvement activities across departments
  • Ensure 100% compliance to company\xe2\x80\x99s RMA\xef\xbc\x88RETURN MATERIAL AUTHORIZATION\xef\xbc\x89 return policy and ensure customers are correctly invoiced if they are not compliant
  • Fulfill RMA and Sales Loaner requests
  • Receive returned RMA and Sales Loaner orders.
  • Support Out of Warranty and Spare Parts Processes for key customers
  • Purchase Order creation as necessary
  • Maintain product services inventory (finished goods, end of life inventory, sales loaner inventory) and participate in inventory cycle counts and reconciliation.
Basic Qualifications and Skills:
  • 3+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in manufacturing, production, or distribution center environments
  • Exposure to quality tools and techniques such root cause and corrective actions
  • Attention to details, very strong critical thinking skills with a pursuit toward continuous improvement
  • Able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to peers and customers alike with leadership skills
  • Familiarity with quality management system, including ISO9001/14001
  • Proficient in Microsoft office tools (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Experience work in SAP is a plus
