Job Description

At least 5 years


High-proficiency in CMM operation, with various brands/software is top advantage.


Proficiency in following skills, knowledge:


1. CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) operation (set-up, programming, operation, methods improvement)


2. Utilization of various Quality Control inspection and test equipment - Micrometer, Caliper, Height Gauge, Vision/Video inspection devices, etc.


3. Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical (part, product) drawings (2D, 3D)


4. Knowledge and application of GD&T - Gauge Dimensioning and Tolerancing


5. Knowledge in Statistical Process Control (SPC), principles and software


6. Computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel


7. Measurement data compilation, analysis and recommend improvements

1. Able to work and contribute in Teamwork


2. Excellent attention to detail and observation skills


3. Ability to work with proper composure in difficult situation


4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


5. Able to work in extended hours, including weekends according situational requirements


Key Responsibilities:


1. Inspection and Testing: First article (FA), In-coming, In-process, Outgoing, ad-hoc investigation for Raw materials, components, products (single, sub-assembly, final product)


2. Documentation: Prepare, submit reports. Ensuring completeness, accuracy and proper archiving


3. Compliance: Ensure inspected item mentioned above are compliant to establish standards, inspection plans, etc. Prompt alert to relevant Personnel/Dept. when deviation or abnormality is found.
