Job Description

A fast-growing quant investment firm is looking to hire a newly created headcount to assist the Chief Compliance Officer in APAC Compliance. The role will have the opportunity to work with a wider global team in compliance and be surrounded by highly intellect individuals in a fast paced, invigorating environment.


Some of the key responsibilities will include:


Maintain and enhance the firm's compliance program in line with global regulatory requirements (e.g., MAS, SFC, FSC, CSRC etc.). Provide compliance advice to various stakeholders across the business on an APAC basis. Oversee the monitoring of trading activities to detect and prevent market abuse, insider trading, and other regulatory breaches.
To be eligible for this role you will require:


Around 8-12 years of compliance experience within the buy-side industry (quant or systematic trading background preferred but candidates from global markets will be considered). Strong understanding of relevant Singapore regulatory requirements. Experience in wider global regulatory requirements will be advantageous. Able to work independently. Collaborative mindset.
