Our client, a global fintech company, is seeking a highly motivated and analytical professional to join their Singapore team as a

Quantitative Risk Strategy Analyst

.


This role focuse on designing and implementing data-driven credit and risk strategies. You will play a key role in balancing business growth with robust risk management, working closely with cross-functional teams across business, product, technology, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and enhance risk strategies across the customer lifecycle - from origination to ongoing monitoring - aligned with business goals and risk appetite. Utilize alternative data sources to uncover new risk factors and create analytical indicators to strengthen risk assessment. Build and optimize risk models, scoring frameworks, and monitoring systems to effectively identify and mitigate risks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate insights into actionable strategies that balance growth and risk control. Provide thought leadership in innovative risk management approaches to support sustainable and compliant business expansion.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in Financial Engineering, Risk Management, Statistics, Data Science, or other quantitative/financial disciplines. Minimum 3 years of experience in

credit risk strategy, modelling, or analytics

, preferably within

fintech

or

banking

. Proficiency in

SQL

and

Python

, with proven experience working with complex datasets. Knowledge of

Trade Finance

and/or

E-commerce Financing

is a strong advantage. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail. Passion for learning and developing innovative approaches to risk management.
