Job Description

We are seeking a motivated

Quantitative Trader

to join our Singapore office. This role involves working night shifts to support our 24/7 trading capabilities, ensuring seamless execution and monitoring of high-frequency trading strategies. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in HFT trading, application support, or production support, with a strong interest in financial markets and technology.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and manage live trading systems during night shifts to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. Execute and oversee high-frequency trading strategies, ensuring alignment with market conditions and firm objectives. Provide real-time support for trading applications, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. Collaborate with trading, engineering, and operations teams to enhance system performance and reliability. Analyze market data and trading performance to identify opportunities for strategy optimization. Maintain detailed logs of trading activities and incidents, ensuring compliance with internal protocols and regulatory requirements. Escalate critical issues promptly to senior traders or technical teams for resolution.

Qualifications

1-3 years of experience in high-frequency trading, application support, or production support within a financial or trading environment. Strong understanding of financial markets, trading systems, and HFT strategies. Proficiency in troubleshooting and supporting trading applications, with familiarity in Linux/Unix environments preferred. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, particularly during night shifts. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Knowledge of programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, Rust, or SQL) is a plus. * Willingness to work night shifts and adapt to a 24/7 trading schedule.
