Job Description

Our client: A general construction group listed on the SGX Mainboard with 40 years of experience, during which we have handled a wide range of projects, from residential buildings to conservation houses, schools, churches, industrial buildings and business parks. They are A1-graded under CW01 (General Building) and A2-graded under CW02 (Civil Engineering) by the Singapore's Building and Construction Authority.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare budget & cost control monitoring to ensure the project is within the budget.
• Prepare and analyze cost comparison
• Prepare, evaluate and recommend on the award of Sub-contractors
• Responsible for measuring quantities and taking off
• Prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, settlement and sub-contractor payments
• Preparation of Monthly Progress claims, variation orders and payments to subcontractors
• Assist Project Manager in all contractual and costing matters

Requirements:

• Able to work 5.5 days work week
• Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying / Building or equivalent
• Min 3 years of relevant experience as a Quantity Surveyor in Main Contractor firm, preferably building
• Experience of contractual matters including payment claims
• Attending meetings and contractual matters to solve site matters
• Knowledge of purchasing site materials
• Able to work independently under minimum supervision
• Willing to work late hours at site

Salary
$3,000 - $4,200
