Job Responsibilities:
Prepare tender costings, bills of quantities, and material/labour estimates from tender documents and drawings.
Evaluate and negotiate tenders with sub-contractors and suppliers.
Work with the project team to meet client requirements efficiently.
Control and monitor project budgets and expenditures.
Perform monthly valuations of work in progress and forecast final costs.
Vet sub-contractor tenders/contracts and certify monthly valuations.
Manage all commercial project data, including cost forecasting for labour, materials, and sub-contractors, ensuring budget compliance.
Provide required information to Managers and Directors for periodic reviews.
Job Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
Min 2 - 5 years of relevant experience in the electrical construction, M/E services or any structured cabling industry or similar
Proven track record in project cost management and tender preparation would be advantageous
