JOB SUMMARYManages and plans all costs associated with all types of construction projects, from outset until completion. Quantity surveyors are concerned with doing the best possible job at the best possible price.The role also involves a lot of strategic work, involved at every stage, making sure that everything is done with the right cost and quality within the allocated time frame. Prepares billing from to final of quantities and manages & maintain a building efficiently.In charge of managing all costs related to civil engineering and building projects from the first calculations to the final numbers. Quantity surveyors are tasked with reducing the overall cost of a project thus ensuring value for money.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Initial feasibility studies;

• Ensuring materials are suitable for the environment;

• Negotiating costs;

• Drawing up contracts with vendors;

• Construction Calendar

• Monitoring progress;

• Advising on legal issues and representing clients in any disputes;

• Produces documents and planning costs to preparing final bills of quantities;

• To ensure all work at every stage of a project is completed on time, within budget and to the correct standard;

• Adheres to clearly defined standards and quality which are specified by building regulations;

• Carrying out feasibility studies;

• Cost control & cost benefit analysis;

• Risk analysis evaluations;

• Accountable, Make sure project on time/ schedule & on budget

• Price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project

• Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation

• Track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly

• Procure or agree the services of contractors and/or subcontractors who work on the construction of the project

• At least 2 years experience in related field

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

• Quantity Surveyor: 2 years (Preferred)
• Real Estate or Construction Company: 1 year (Preferred)
