Must be comprehensive and sufficient to call for tender (or ask for quotations) and provide details for Procurement Department to place order for materials. Based on individual trade and job specifications, prepare contract to Suppliers who are interested to participate in the competing tender (open close tender). Costing - (preparation and setting up of project budget) provide budget for project, and costing for all trades. Evaluation and comparison of tenders or suppliersu2019 quotations. Recommendation for MDu2019s approval. Provide Cash-flow projection and maintain budgetary control on site progress. Evaluation, back charge and certification of monthly (or weekly) progress claims from the contractors. Perform monthly Main-con claims. Attend site meeting and inspection for work progress certification. Valuation of variations, EOT and finalization of accounts. Pre and post Contract administration include tender documents if necessary. All other duties as per assigned by superiors. Job Specifications Candidate must possess at least a Diploma Advanced Higher Graduate Diploma in Quantity Survey or equivalent. At least 5 years of working experience in quantity surveying and bid estimation process of building construction AutoCAD trade Certificate is an advantage Possess planning, communication, negotiation and problem solving skills
