With a growing portfolio and an expanding client base, we are seeking a skilled and resourceful Quantity Surveyor to be the pioneering member of our QS department, helping shape its culture and standards.





Key Responsibilities



Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and quantity take-offs for interior renovation and fit-out projects. Source, negotiate, and manage procurement of materials and subcontractor services.

Emphasis: Actively build and maintain a strong network of suppliers and material contacts.
Evaluate and manage project budgets to ensure cost-efficiency and value engineering. Prepare and review tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities. Draft and submit interim payment applications, final accounts, and comprehensive cost reports. Assess and certify subcontractor claims, payments, and final settlements. Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants throughout all phases of the project. Conduct regular site visits and prepare progress reports as needed. Ensure compliance with all relevant building, contractual, and safety regulations.

Take full ownership and accountability for assigned tasks and deliverables, seeing each project through from start to finish.

Handle other related duties or ad hoc assignments as required.

Requirements



Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in the interior design/renovation sector, with strong exposure to fit-out projects. Strong knowledge of construction materials, costing, and up-to-date market pricing. Resourceful in identifying and liaising with suppliers, subcontractors, and industry partners. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Meticulous, analytical, and well-organized, with excellent time-management skills. Effective communication and negotiation abilities. Able to work independently, take initiative, and contribute positively within a team environment. *
