Quantity measurement, costing and estimation for both pre-contract and post-contract.
Track changes to the Tendered Project Work Scope and adjust Project Cashflow Projection accordingly.
Prepare Tender Documents, contracts, BOQ and other documentation required for the Project Flow (e.g. Subcontractor / Supplier etc)
Procurement responsibilities including preparing tender document or calling for quotation for subcontract packages including evaluation through cost comparison as well as recommendation of awards
Certify and evaluate progress work done; includes contract administration for any variation or change for both Subcontracts and Main Contracts
Prepare and followup monthly progress claims in timely manner
Select / Source & Evalutate the construction materials or suppliers provided to the Company.
Liaise with Client Rep for the claims procedures and the Company's internal team such as Project Managers / Engineers / Coordinators and Site Supervisors / Engineers.
Follow up on the payment status with the project client, including releasing of the Retension Sum (if any).
Perform other QS-related duties as assigned by the Reporting Manager
Requirements
Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying or its equivalent
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Words, Excel & etc)
Experience in Civil Engineering Fields / construction related
Ability to learn how to use specialist software for documents control
Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a Team
Outspoken & with good Negotiating Skill
Able to work in fast pace environment and independently
Meticulous and Cost Conscious
