This position will support K.U.S Pre-Cast (S) Pte Ltd projects in Singapore.

K.U.S Pre-cast is a part of K.U.S Group of Companies that was founded in 2008. We specialize in the design and manufacturing of pre-cast components in Singapore and Malaysia. As it maximized its 20-Acre manufacturing plant in South Malaysia, K.U.S Pre-cast has expanded swiftly to be the market leader in Singapore. The Quantity Surveyor (Civil Engineer/Building) reports to the Senior Quantity Surveyor and assists in all costs and contractual issues in Sub-Contracts connected to the project.

Job Responsibility:

\xc2\xb7 Responsible in cost analysis and contract documents administration.

\xc2\xb7 Reviews tender documents / requests for proposals to understand project details and requirements.

\xc2\xb7 Study and identify discrepancies in drawings & documents and raise queries for clarifications.

\xc2\xb7 To work closely, good communication with the client to get accurate information to prepare quotation.

\xc2\xb7 Responsible for detailed and accurate quantity taking off, details measurement against the drawings.

\xc2\xb7 Able to calculate accuracy of concrete and rebar details calculation

\xc2\xb7 Ensure accurate measurement of quantities to assist in the preparation of quotation submission, progress payment claims, variation order claims and including all final accounts.

\xc2\xb7 Be familiar with the specifications and scope of works at various stages of the project/ precast items to be able to advise the structural, architectural on the contracted design requirements.

\xc2\xb7 Analysis of price comparison and updating pre-& post quotation clarifications.

\xc2\xb7 Request quotation from Sub-con and Suppliers.

\xc2\xb7 Follow up for submitted quotations and tenders to the clients.

\xc2\xb7 Maintaining good documentation and get complete information for cost control/progress claims/ variation claim.

\xc2\xb7 Identify and prepare variations orders for the projects.

\xc2\xb7 Attend the technical meetings to get complete information for pre and post projects by Zoom or Google meet.

\xc2\xb7 Preparation for VO submission and liaise with Consultants, clients & factory to get SOI and to collect any other supporting documents.

\xc2\xb7 Preparation for Final Account Submission.

\xc2\xb7 Any other Ad-Hoc duties as assigned by Superior.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

\xc2\xb7 Education: Degree in Civil Engineering/ Building /Quantity Surveying.

\xc2\xb7 Experience: Minimum 5 years of working experience in tendering, estimating and measurement of quantities in building construction/civil projects.

\xc2\xb7 Computer Proficiency, Microsoft office and AutoCAD.

Technical Competencies

\xc2\xb7 Robust knowledge of materials and construction at site

\xc2\xb7 Strong measurement skill

\xc2\xb7 Ability to use measurement software

\xc2\xb7 Good understanding of the principles of contracts

\xc2\xb7 Research and analytical skills.

\xc2\xb7 Communication skills, including the ability to explain clearly, listen to the feedback of clients - and relay this to colleagues.

Requirements

\xc2\xb7 Precast knowledge is advantage

\xc2\xb7 Working independently, Accurate and Timely manner.

\xc2\xb7 Good knowledge in Contract & QS procedures and pricing
