Prepare BQ and tender documents, highlight discrepancies in tender documents, and clarify with consultants;
Source for quotations, select and negotiate for the best purchase package in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries, and services;
Prepare purchase orders, work closely with subcontractors and suppliers;
Take charge of cost control & planning to ensure spending is within the budget;
Review and advise the Project Manager on the cost impact for any variation of project specifications;
Monitor project delivery to ensure compliance with the contractual terms and conditions;
Attend to site visits and clarification meetings;
Other duties as assigned by the superior.
Qualification / Experience:
Candidate should possess a Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying/Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of relevant QS experience
Candidate with knowledge of Singapore Building & Construction Law and with experienced in pre and post contract administration will be an added advantage
Good in self-organised, responsible and able to multi-tasks
Fluent in verbal & written communication of both English & Mandarin languages (Role will be required to liaise with Mandarin speaking customers)
