Job Description

To work independently within the Asia Quotation Development Department or with members of a ThermoFisher sales group or project team, responsible to ensure the timely completion of price quotations requested by our existing and potential clients. The Quotation Specialist must collaborate with customers and internal resources to define requirements, develop specifications and obtain pricing for various services that may be required, including but not limited to, packaging, distribution, manufacturing and procurement.Job Responsibilities:Generate accurate and detailed proposals for clinical trial protocols within stipulated turn around time for all Asia facilities; and other ThermoFisher facilities when required.Participate in discussion and interpretation of clinical trial protocols with internal personnel and customer.Determines the preliminary design of the study and evaluates and understands the study.Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that clients are provided with service levels that go beyond the customer\xe2\x80\x99s expectations.Provide advice and guidance on the optimal use of ThermoFisher capabilities and package design.Work with ThermoFisher staff to ensure that project dimensions and documentation are set up in accordance with the project specifications.Participates in activities, such as teleconferences and customer visits, if necessary, for obtaining needed information to complete a price quotation.Creating and making amendments to quotes where required and ensure written in accordance with RFQ and relevant price lists and MSAs.Provides continuous input on improving quote production, format, process improvement.To undertake any other duties as required.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or diploma in scientific or heath care discipline /business studies, client services or related preferred.Minimum 2 years experiences in Clinical Logistic business, Project management and Business development exposure preferred.Key Competencies:Good organizational skillsGood written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese (Translation work required)Attention to detailsAble to priorities workload and meet required deadlinesFlexible in order to meet changing priorities and business needs
