The Architect contributes to a segment of the bank\xe2\x80\x99s architecture. For that segment they engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and they create architecture descriptions (current-state/future-state architectures and architecture roadmaps) ensuring that architectures reflect stakeholder needs and the bank\xe2\x80\x99s strategy. They contribute to business cases for change initiatives that progress the architecture by providing architecture-related advice. The Architect assists with the drafting, publication, communication and maintenance of architecture directives (policies, standards and practices) to guide sustainable solutions and to enable objective assessment of the alignment of architectures. They participate in architecture reviews to ensure alignment to architecture directives and roadmaps.
The Architect maintains an awareness of the internal and external environment to understand threats and opportunities to the organisation, and they support capability improvements to address those threats and opportunities via architecture-related initiatives. They build relationships with peer stakeholders (internal and external as required) and they engage in open communication with stakeholders, incorporating feedback and lessons learned into day-to-day activities.

Within the Securities Services division, the Fund Services product family has new opportunities for suitable candidates to be part of their data and digital transformation program.
The successful candidate will help us build and maintain cloud-based digital data analytics solutions including microservices.
You will be responsible for architecting, designing, developing, testing, and deploying web services and APIs focusing on the funds service data offering working in close collaboration with business, product and operations in an Agile culture.
Successful candidates are expected to be experts in their fields and hands-on, and passionate to create and deliver.

The successful candidate can expect to work in a start-up culture and be part of a cross-functional agile delivery APAC team within a bank with strong growth drivers that is fast paced and requiring uncompromised execution to hit milestones.

Your key responsibilities:

• Responsible for designing a data store in the Securities Services (Funds Services) Technology environment.
• Using a product called Simcorp Dimension, we are looking to expose data based on this application on the cloud and build services to make this data available to operations, and client via portals, APIs as well as on the cloud.
• Work closely with business partners in defining the requirements architecting the solution as well as enable the development team to take the product offering to delivery on production.
• Bring disciplined and expert approaches to quality software development, focused on optimizing the application of technologies and good governance practices to deliver positive impacts and value to business and clients.
• Contribute to all stages of software delivery, from initial analysis right through to production support.

Your skills and experience:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in data lifecycle management, organizing big data and data architectures that will support OLAP, cloud, real-time ETL and data-pipes, and batched big data processing.
• Proven experience in data warehousing, building data marts and data mesh using GCP BigQuery. Experienced in data modeling, ETL, data visualization. Knowledgeable in data organization.
• Proven experience with big data and app migration from on-prem to Cloud. Cloud experience with GCP Bigquery.
• Hands on experience in constructing ETL/data pipelines, design/implement data transfers across different tech platforms/databases like Oracle, big data clusters and cloud; integrating/ingesting message, transactional and streaming data from multiple data sources
• Good knowledge with data modelling and relevant tools (Power Designer, Erwin, etc)
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as Google Cloud; their services and tools.
• Proven experience with various data architecture disciplines such as security, entitlements, privacy, sovereignty, normalization, reuse, governance, metadata, and modelling
• Proven experience as a successful data lead, able to guide a technical team effectively

Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office. Relevant vaccination requirements may apply.
