Overview
As a Radiographer, you are responsible for providing high quality imaging services. You may also be responsible for the guiding the students radiographer or new radiographers.Job Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities (80%)

  • Perform clinical duties in general radiography (including portable X-ray), plain CT brain, Fluoroscopy, BMD scan, MOT imaging for outpatient, inpatient and emergency settings etc.
  • Administer contrast media for radiological examinations, whenever required
  • Oversee and ensure smooth operations within his/her working station and ensure proper usage and care of equipment and environment at all times
  • Ensure quality assurance programmes are implemented and observed as well as initiate system improvement whenever needed, working closely with internal BME colleagues or external vendor engineers.
  • Adhere to safe work practices especially in radiation safety and infection control
  • Assist with training and clinical placement of students radiographers
  • Render prompt and courteous service delivery to external and internal customers
  • Handle difficult situations like patients\' complaints and queries promptly and effectively
  • Ensure efficient patient turnaround time per examination
  • Plan, organise and prioritise assigned tasks such that all are completed effectively and on time
  • Motivate and counsel team members on work or professional related issues. Build upon their strengths and help improve their weaknesses for desired results
Secondary Responsibilities (20%)
  • Maintain and upkeep daily working station with efficient work performance
  • Ensure physical environment and ambience of work place adheres to corporate standards
  • Collate/prepare/analyse statistical data as per required
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by Radiography HOD
Requirements
  • Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) registration
  • Recognised Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography
  • 5 years specialised experience in Mammography / Ultrasound / CT / MRI / Interventional Radiology preferred
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Compassionate and good patient care
  • Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer and service oriented
  • Computer skills in word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software
