THE COMPANY
Our Client is a renowned organisation in the Semiconductor industry with a strong presence worldwide. They are looking for an R&D Director/Senior Manager to lead their team in Singapore, reporting to the Managing Director.
THE ROLE
The R&D Director/Senior Manager is responsible for:

• Lead and manage multidisciplinary R&D teams across mechanical, electrical, software, and process engineering.
• Define technology strategy and product innovation roadmap aligned with business objectives and market trends.
• Drive concept-to-commercialization cycles, ensuring design for manufacturability, reliability, and cost competitiveness.
• Oversee development of next-generation semiconductor process equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

• Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, or related Engineering discipline.
• 8 years of experience in semiconductor equipment development, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.
• Proven track record in new product introduction (NPI), technology transfer, and scaling R&D organizations.
• Strong knowledge of wafer fabrication, advanced packaging, or related semiconductor processes.
