R&D Electrical EngineerDescription -What a R&D Electrical Engineer does at HP:

• Designs portions of engineering solutions for electrical and electronic parts, subsystems, integrated circuitry, and algorithms based on established engineering principles and specifications.
• Performs test and troubleshooting to debug defective hardware/ electronic units, sub-assemblies, and process steps based on established testing plans.
• Performs validation of tolerances, form/fit/function, shock and vibration, electromagnetic interference, safety, reliability, thermal generation, and system power measurements.
• Implements remediations across hardware stack according to plan, while keeping a thorough procedural record and data log.
• Develops and publishes updates on resolutions and communicates findings internally, summarizing all results.
• Exercises technical judgement, creativity, and initiative with attention to detail consistently throughout work output.
• Participates as a member of project team of other electrical hardware engineers and internal and outsourced development partners for product development and knowledge sharing.
• Contributes as part of the project team to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality solutions for low to moderately - complex products.
• Develops understanding and relationship with internal and outsourced development partners on electrical hardware design and development, sharing information via standardized reports.

Education & Experience Recommended:

• Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 0-1 years of work experience, preferably in electrical design and tools, software packages, architecture of electronic hardware, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
