Job Description

:

• Establish, operate, and maintain pilot plant equipment associated with the company\'s separation process technology.
• Collaborate within cross-functional teams to execute experimental trials, maintaining a secure work environment.
• Apply robust mechanical acumen and troubleshooting skills.
• Display flexibility for extended schedules with rotating shifts (days, afternoons, or overnights) as needed.
• Conduct HAZOPs (Hazard and Operability Studies) and fulfill corresponding action requirements.
• Manage the handling and transportation of chemicals in diverse packaging sizes.
• Strictly adhere to both company and national Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) regulations and operational protocols.
• Contribute to the development of eco-friendly products and solutions.
• Participate actively in health and safety-related consultations where applicable.
• Promptly report all potential and actual ESH incidents to the line manager or site ESH manager.
• Collaborate to forestall and report any instances of environmental and health and safety violations within the workplace.

Job Requirement:

• Diploma/Degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related fields.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in industrial plants, pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, or flavor and fragrance process environments.
• Knowledge Requirements (Professional, Technical, Language):
• Proficient in separation processes such as distillation, Liquid-Liquid extraction, and crystallization.
• Hands-on experience in commissioning and operating process plants.
• Familiarity with conducting Risk Assessment and methodologies in Process Safety (PHA, What-ifs).
• Knowledgeable in Change Management practices.
• Working understanding of Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls, and Mechanical systems, etc.
