JOB SUMMARY
Be part of a team member in a design team to design, qualify and implement solutions to a product as define in the product requirements
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
\xc2\xb7 Participate in redesign of current products to achieve cost savings

\xc2\xb7 Participate in design of modules or subsystems

\xc2\xb7 Perform conceptual and detail design of mechanical parts and modules

\xc2\xb7 Participate in technical discussions and presentation of design solutions

\xc2\xb7 Perform design of electro-mechanical subsystems, micro-mechanisms and transmission systems

\xc2\xb7 Work with the Manufacturing team and part suppliers throughout the product cycle in a fast-paced environment

\xc2\xb7 Coordinate construction of prototype and pilot run articles

Authority:

\xc2\xb7 Author of specification, requirements and implementation for design module assigned

\xc2\xb7 Approval of the fabricated proto of assigned design module

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
\xc2\xb7 Masters/Degree in Mechanical Engineering

\xc2\xb7 Strong knowledge and experience in mechanism or automation design are preferred

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge and experience in plastic, Sheetmetal and rubber parts will be advantageous

\xc2\xb7 Proficient in CAD tools like Solid Designer. Knowledge in GD&T and stack tolerance

JOB-RELATED SKILLS & PRE-REQUISITES
\xc2\xb7 Good team player with strong passion for design

\xc2\xb7 Familiarity with CAD tools like Pro Engineer and Solid Designer

\xc2\xb7 Overseas attachment may be required
