The candidate will join Synopsys\' EDA Group software R&D team. Work on our next-generation auto-routing and design automation. Work on projects in the fields of Circuit Simulation. This position provides an opportunity to demonstrate technical leadership and innovation. We work as part of a global team that delivers market-changing EDA solutions to major technology companies around the world.

Responsibilities:

• Build and improve our heterogenous system of GPU-accelerated circuit simulation.
• Keep optimizing the engine of circuit simulator based on the latest generation of GPU from NVIDIA, AMD, and INTEL.
• Evaluate customer and technology challenges and propose solutions
• Write project specifications, implement high-level architectures, drive quality of results and maintain a test-driven development methodology
• Debug and solve problems for our customers in more comparable and forward-looking manner
• Adhere to strict software quality and performance requirements
• Work on successful deployment, release and support of advanced Synopsys EDA products and solutions

Key Qualifications:

• Masters/Ph.D. in CS, EE, or related engineering field with 10+ years of software development experience.
• Solid C/C++, CUDA, algorithm development and data structure, with 5+ years of high-performance computing experience.
• Solid background on SPICE simulation & verification knowledge.
• Proficiency in debugging and software management tools
• Excellent problem-solving skills, must be a quick learner and self-starter
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Written and spoken English communications skills (intermediate or higher)
• Proficiency in Linux, Python, Perl, of other scripting is highly desired.
