Job Description
The R&D Mechanical Engineer is responsible for supporting the development, sustaining and localization projects for production operations.
- Location: Yishun
- 5 days work, Office Hour
- Semiconductor Equipment Manufacturing MNC
- Develop and manage mechanical hardware design projects according to the development process
- Involve in the assembly and testing of first article
- Work closely with R&D HQ, Purchasing, Production and manage 3rd party vendors
- Participate in cross functional team for ad-hoc or projects
- Ensure proper documentation throughout the development process and initiate engineering change process in accordance to process flow
- Evaluation and selection of components, optimize fabrication and minimize cost of products
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics or equivalent
- Have design & simulation analysis background (ANSYS / NASTRAN)
- Knowledge in Automation and Machine/Mechanical Design.
- Knowledge in SMT & PCBA industry and related processes are advantageous.
- Knowledge with Industry 4.0 practices and implementations are advantageous.
- Experience with 3D CAD design tools - preferably NX (previously Unigraphics)/SolidWorks.
- Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools - preferably TeamCenter.
- May needs to travel overseas on a short notice for meeting
