Key responsibilities

Accountable for end-to-end New Product Introduction and maintenance of existing products that are fit-for-purpose via good project management. Support customer engagement with ideation, prototype development and application, sample preparation and customer presentation. Apply scientific approach to developing products that meet customer requirement, country compliance, food safety and product stability requirement. Collaborate within RD&A functions and provide technical support to cross-functional teams, e.g. Regulatory, QA, Sales, Quality, Production, Supply Chain, Procurement and EUM teams. Ensure good laboratory practices and lab safety protocols are met. Maintain good working laboratory, including upkeep of equipment, stocking of supplies and general cleaning of work areas. Validate ingredient functionality in final products as part of product development and/or PIP activities. Maximize use of Kerry technologies and collection products, and support Portfolio Mgr on gap analysis and ensure portfolios are up to date. Provides coaching and mentoring to the more junior scientists / technologists on the team.

Qualifications and skills

Bachelors Degree in Food Technology/Science, Food Engineering, Nutrition, Chemistry, Applied Science or other related fields Minimum 5 years' of working experience, as a RDA professional, with exposure in Savoury (especially Sauces is a must). Experience in end-to-end NPD (New Product Development) and foodservice portfolio is an advantage.
