We believe that when people feel a sense of belonging, they can be more creative, innovative, and thrive at all points in their careers.Responsibilities:This position is for a full-time Software Engineer to join Keysight\xe2\x80\x99s Quantum Engineering Solutions (QES) organization, which is responsible for producing world-leading solutions in quantum technologies, including quantum computing, quantum communications and quantum sensing. As a Solution Developer, you will be part of an R&D team, launching breakthrough software solutions to market and engaging in every stage of our product development process. You will address intricate technical challenges in a customer-centric environment, leveraging your expertise in developing, deploying, and managing high-performance distributed systems, while architecting, implementing, and maintaining scalable, low-latency solutions for real-time data streaming and backend services.Job Responsibilities

• Architect and build backend services with a focus on scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Ensure seamless integration between various components, enabling efficient communication and data exchange between software and hardware.
• Manage the deployment, monitoring, and optimization of services in a distributed environment.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, customer-centric software solutions.

Qualifications:Job Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science/Computer Engineering and/or Physics/Electrical Engineering with C#/C++, Golang or python programming and debugging proficiency or equivalent 4-7 years job experience.
• Proven experience developing production software using C#, C++, Golang or Python.
• In-depth experience with gRPC for high-performance inter-service communication.
• Knowledge of Apache Kafka, including experience with Kafka Streams, connectors, and cluster management.
• Proficiency in optimizing database queries and data access layers.
• Good understanding of microservices architecture.
• Good understanding of quantum information science is desired but not mandatory.
• Good understanding of parallel computing.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve system issues related to hardware instrumentation and software interaction.
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment and to develop teamwork among individuals and over geographically disperse teams.
• High tolerance for ambiguity, results-oriented, meets timelines, handles pressure while working positively in a collaborative manner.
• Experience working with but not limited to AWG, Digitizer, and Downconverter modules.

• PXI hardware experience a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
