Ideal preference for candidates in buyside / boutique corporate finance advisory firms / Big 4 / corporate firm / M&A
Open for 2-5 yrs experience, no prior real estate experience needed but financial modeling skills mandatory
Responsibilities:
Investment role reporting directly to Managing director
Portfolio spans across diversified real estate classes i.e residential, integrated developments, retail, office, lodging, business parks, industrial, logistics, data centres (not much hospitality)
Regional coverage: Southeast Asia and Singapore
Involvement in financial modeling, analysis, feasibility studies and preparation of approval for investments opportunities
Analyse performance at both asset and portfolio level
Prepare investment proposals and participate in deal execution process including due diligence, structuring, negotiating, legal documentation, etc
Assist in new business venture development, including proof of concept execution, project management, business model research and analysis, as well as reporting
Regular sector research to keep apprised of updated trends and market news/information including the review and analysis of financial, market information and analyst reports
Support business development efforts for investment and new business ventures opportunities
Job requirements:
Degree in any discipline
MANDATORY: Able to build financial models/ do investment feasibility studies, not more than 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
Preference for candidates already in private equity, buyside, M&A, big 4 advisory, sellside investment banking, boutique corporate finance advisory firms, or laterally in other real estate corporate firms or GLCs. Real estate sector is advantageous, but not mandatory. Generalists welcome to apply.
Able to multi-task effectively across a wide range of projects and deliverables, and handle work streams independently
