THKMC was incorporated on 13 October 2011 as a charity to provide multiple social and welfare services to the community at large, and achieved an Institute of Public Character (IPC) status on 18 November 2011. THKMC is the charitable arm of Thye Hua Kwan Moral Society, which lives by the mission To Serve Mankind to help anyone who needs help regardless of their race, religion, colour, language, creed and culture. THKMC today serves more than 70,000 beneficiaries through more than 70 programmes across five Services, which include Disability, Early Intervention for Children, Family, Seniors\' Community, and Therapy.The Early Intervention for Children (EIC) Services helps equip children with motor, communication, social, self-help and cognitive skills. THK EIC Centre involves structuring classes around small groups encompassing early childhood special education, social work and therapy support services to stimulate their adaptive functioning and school readiness skills.This role reports to Assistant Director, Family Empowerment and/or Head of Department, Social Work.Main Duties & Responsibilities: * Reception Duties

  • To answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails to the appropriate personnel.
  • Attend to walk-in visitors professionally.
  • Open letter box daily and sort out incoming mails.
  • Manage incoming confidential documents and routing the documentations to the correct staff.
  • Perform fee collection duties and its related activities assigned.
  • To maintain a neat and organised reception area.
  • Admin Duties for office
  • To assist in issuing and collection of company property to new and resigning staff
  • Data Collection and entry
  • Maintain proper Records and Filing as required.
  • Support in facilities management (e.g aircon servicing works general repair & maintenance).
  • Support in the procurement process.
  • Documentation and administrative tasks for the Social work department
  • Supports the social workers in facilitating documents for client\'s enrolment to EIPIC (e.g. enrolment form, means testing etc)
  • Creating case files, maintaining accurate records by updating client particulars, and filing the necessary documents.
  • Perform means testing and ensuring parents/social workers are alerted to any subsidy expiring
  • Assist in conducting case file checks and preparing periodic reports as required, musters reporting, and financial reporting matters.
  • Processing and verifying transport subsidy monthly for all the 6 centres and liaising with the centre social workers.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer.
Qualifications
  • Minimally a Diploma
Other Information
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Sharepoint)
  • Meticulous and have good administrative skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Pleasant, courteous, and respectful always
  • Able to work closely with other professionals in the team.
  • Driven to provide excellent customer service.
