Receptionist (central, Finance Industry)

Job Description


Our Client is an established MNC in the investment industry from Canada. They are expanding and are seeking for an experienced receptionist to assist clients for their requests and appointments with business. The individual will also have to manage office and administrative matters.

Salary up to $3500

Location: Central

:

  • Handle incoming guests and register them for their appointments. Handle, screen and where required, direct inbound calls and enquiries in a timely and professional manner. Serve guests and senior management refreshments for meetings.
  • Manage the reception area, meeting rooms, main office and pantry as well as oversee the office and pantry supplies as well as taking care of the office plants.
  • Coordinate facilities and office maintenance with the building management and 3rd party vendors.
  • Handle general administrative duties not excluding managing inbound / outbound letters, couriers and / or packages, submitting invoices to Group Finance for payment, coordinating 3rd party vendors during on-site maintenance work, organize luncheons or support the Senior Secretaries in larger office events as required.
  • Assist in ad-hoc tasks when assigned
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education and above
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar capacity within the financial sector. An international office environment is highly preferred.
  • Excellent inter-personal and communication skills in both written and spoken English.
  • Excellent computer skills
  • A self-starter with excellent people skills and a flexible attitude with the ability to handle different priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated sound judgement and highly skilled in handling sometimes complex and / or confidential information and situations with professionalism, discretion and tact
