Job Description

Clyde & Co's Singapore office invites applications for the role of Receptionist on a 6-month fixed term contract from February to July 2023.

The successful candidate will ideally come from a corporate receptionist background preferably with some facilities experience.

About the role

As a receptionist within the Singapore office you will be the first point of contact for all external visitors to our office, and an important resource to our internal legal services and support departments; assisting with the general running of the office, helping to setup for meetings and conferences and undertaking general reception and administrative duties as required.

Reporting to the HR Manager and working as part of a core team of facilities and customer service specialists, you will be a fast learner with excellent attention to detail and highly developed communication and customer service skills.

Key responsibilities

  • Attend to guests and visitors
  • Attend to, and assist with all incoming and outgoing phone calls
  • Assist with in-house events and seminars
  • Manage meeting room bookings and updating internal room booking database
  • Coordinate with facilities and IT teams at other offices to setup for internal meetings/video conferences
  • Ensure the office remains tidy and presentable at all times
  • Coordinate despatch of daily mail/courier items and distribution of incoming mail
  • Assist the facilities coordinator to monitor stock levels of general office supplies including pantry and stationary items
  • Assist with other duties as assigned.
Essential skills and experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in a front of house/reception/customer service role
  • Minimum GCE 'N/O' Levels or equivalent
  • Strong IT skills including experience with MS Office Word, Excel and Calendar
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Flexibility and genuine willingness to assist others/work as part of a team
  • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritise multiple deadlines
  • Enthusiastic and positive attitude.
