Job Title: Recruitment Consultant Location: 601 Macpherson Road (Tai Seng MRT) Department: Human Resources

Job Summary: The Recruitment Consultant, with a diploma-level education in human resources or a related field, is responsible for assisting in the recruitment and selection processes within the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of recruitment best practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to attract and retain top talent. The Recruitment Officer will play a key role in sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding candidates, ensuring a smooth and effective hiring process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Candidate Sourcing: Utilize various sourcing methods, such as job boards, social media, and networking, to identify and attract qualified candidates.
  • Screening and Selection: Review resumes and applications, conduct initial phone screens, and shortlist candidates for interviews.
  • Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate interviews, ensuring a positive candidate experience. Conduct initial interviews and assessments as needed.
  • Candidate Evaluation: Assess candidates\' qualifications, skills, and cultural fit for the organization. Provide recommendations to hiring managers.
  • Reference Checks: Conduct reference checks for selected candidates to verify qualifications and work history.
  • Offer Preparation: Collaborate with the HR team and hiring managers to extend job offers, negotiate terms, and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Onboarding: Assist in the onboarding process by collecting required documentation and information from new hires and facilitating orientation.
  • Candidate Relationship Management: Maintain ongoing communication with candidates, keeping them informed about the status of their applications and providing feedback when necessary.
  • Data Management: Keep accurate and organized records of candidate information and recruitment activities in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Compliance: Ensure recruitment processes comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Talent Pool Building: Build and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for future hiring needs.
Qualifications:
  • Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in recruitment or HR support is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with hiring managers.
  • Basic understanding of employment laws and regulations.

Working Conditions: This position is primarily office-based and follows standard working hours. However, there may be occasional flexibility required to accommodate interviews or events outside of regular business hours.
