Job Description

• Adecco is partnering with a Multinational Company (Scientific Equipment Manufacturer). We are looking for a seasoned accounting professional with experience in handling financial accounting portfolios and SAP system to join the team.
• As a Regional Accountant, you will be working closely with the respective countries and offshores team for overall financial accounting-related responsibilities.

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the region in compliance with local regulations and international accounting standards (IFRS).
• Manage general ledger by working closely with offshore team and reconciling accounts, posting journal entries, and ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Conduct variance analysis, trend analysis, and other ad hoc financial analyses to identify opportunities for cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and risk mitigation.
• Responsible for statutory reporting duties for respective countries. Working with internal and external auditors on audit schedules.
• Collaborate with the FP&A specialist and assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts for the region.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including timely and accurate submission of tax returns and other regulatory filings.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights, support decision-making, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, enhance controls, and improve efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting or Finance or possesses relevant professional certifications - ACCA/CA/CPA.
• More than 6 years of relevant financial accounting experience; exposure in handling Australia financial/accounting book is a plus.
• Prior experience in using SAP system.
• Self-motivated individual with good interpersonal and communication skills.
