Join us and bring your expertise on board!As a Regional Customer Manager (LSHC Sector), your overall responsibility is to to develop enhanced solutions for the Life Sciences and Healthcare Sector (LSHC), focusing on service quality and capability development whilst ensuring profitability and sustainability of the solution design and processes. To drive Business Development/ acquisition and retention of LSHC opportunities across all channels in the region.Key tasks include:1. Business Development:

  • Support the development and implementation of industry-specific/program specific strategies with Sector Lead to develop growth opportunities and implement solutions in countries. Win new strategic customers for DHLE APeC, support Sector Lead, (other regions, Cross-BU) and countries.
  • Support and also drive negotiations at Customer decision-making unit, operational level. New Business KPI: TBA (new committed revenue)
2. Industry-Solution Support:
  • Drive value-adds in new capability development for the LSHC sector, in conjunction with global, regional and country stakeholders
  • Drive industry-specific market strategies with global MNC Teams to ensure consistency of commercial and operational approach to target opportunities and increase DHL market share. To leverage, adapt and optimize customer solutions that have been developed in other regions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams/leads to ensure robust and sustainable solution design and successful new implementation of new/enhanced processes to meet Customer/Opportunity requirements.
  • Be the subject-matter expert in anchoring LSHC solution design/enhancement discussions, both internally and externally
3. Communicate, Facilitate and Enable:
  • To serve as a conduit between DHL\'s commercial and regional/global network operations teams to identify/support express customer requirements within the LSHC sector
  • Work closely and support commercial leads in LSHC sector (countries, regions, XBU) to ensure planning, development and implementation milestones are communicated regularly to senior leadership and aligned with LSHC sector growth objectives
Requirements:Bachelor\'s degree in Business Management, Logistics, Supply Chain or relevantMinimum of 5 years experience in Express networkProven capability to work with major customers, identify/resolve customer requirements that contribute to successful business acquisition, customer retention & overall revenue growth * Minimum of 5 years consultative selling experience working at senior customer levels
  • Ability to learn and understand the broad requirements of the supply chains across LSHC sector
  • Sound operational knowledge of express network, services and offerings
  • Knowledge of Medical Express (WMX) core capabilities, processes strongly preferred. External industry specific knowledge is a bonus
Excellent numeric, written and verbal communication skills * Excellent presentation skills
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work under pressure and commit to deadlines
