Job Overview
The Regional Data Centre Director will lead B&W's data centre design and delivery capability across the
specific region (APAC/Europe/MEAI), ensuring technical excellence, commercial growth, and
consistency with global standards. The role balances technical leadership, client development, and
project delivery oversight; acting as both regional technical authority and commercial growth enabler.
Role Responsibilities
Support the Global Datacentre Director in driving scalability, profitability, client management
and brand recognition across the region.
Own the technical alignment of data centre projects delivered in region; be the authority for
technical matters with delivery managed by the existing datacentre teams.
Ensure alignment with global standards, processes, and innovation frameworks.
Partner with local operational and delivery teams to ensure efficiency and repeatability of
globally applied process, aligned to client requirements.
Lead regional technical reviews, audits and lessons-learned programmes, sharing feedback with
other Regional DC Directors
Collaborate with the DC Directors on the global implementation of improvements identified
through the technical reviews and industry progress.
Support delivery teams on their interface with clients to resolve technical challenges and
influence design decisions'
Partner with the regional Director and Business Development Teams to secure new clients and
repeat work.
Collaborate with local technical teams to support with strategic bids and proposals, ensuring
technical and commercial alignment.
Represent B&W in client meetings, industry events, and conferences.
Collaborate with the Regional Datacentre Directors and other specialists as required to
develop, implement, embed and improve technical leadership frameworks which support the
business growth and efficiency.

Accountable for staying current on relevant technical developments within the industry and
sector, as well as ensuring they are considered in the standard company processes

Accountable for keeping abreast of the value of projects, ensuring profitability and efficiency.
Education and Training Requirement
Degree or equivalent in appropriate engineering discipline
Chartership (CIBSE, IET or equivalent) highly desirable
Business or commercial certification desirable
Experience Requirements
Prior experience in mission-critical datacentre design and delivery including financial
management
Proven ability to lead technical delivery at scale
Strong MEP and multidisciplinary knowledge
Prior experience in client facing roles within the sector
