Core Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for demand and inventory management process affiliates under the Emerging Asia Region and India.

DEMAND MANAGEMENT

  • Coordinate and lead Commercial Demand Review (CDR) submission
  • Work with affiliates to build and consolidate country demand at SKU lev
  • Complete CDR deck and align with management on forecast for submission
  • Highlight and investigate exceptions (unusual trends, seasonality in demand, supply issues)
  • Consolidate and provide analysis of Sell-in/Sell-out/Days-on-Hand (DOH)
  • Facilitate gap analysis versus forecasts
  • Prepare and communicate timely Affiliate Demand Report to Area
  • Build process to track consumer offtake data in countries
  • Manage publication and ensure integrity of data in all related systems (SAP IBP, Dodeca).
  • Participate in policy and procedure elaboration regarding Demand Management, Master Planning Schedule, Safety Stock, Customer Service Goals, Delivery Time to Customers.
  • Track assigned KPIs by Area or Corporate; provide analysis and recommendations to improve affiliate performance.
  • New Product Introduction
  • Coordinate and support New Product Introduction (NPI) process.
  • Coordinate NPI review and communicate the status of projects via CDR.
  • Facilitate financial analysis for new product launches.
INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
  • Responsible for inventory management in Affiliates
  • Ensure inventory availability in affiliate warehouses, managing backorders and stock allocation
  • Ensure adequate level of inventory in the distribution channel and flag exceptionally low or high levels of inventory in the channels for discussion and resolution
  • Work with Affiliates to review supply plan issued by Global Supply team to identify supply gaps in supporting demand plan
  • Work with Order Management team on shipment schedule and prioritization, open POs reconciliation etc
  • Work with freight forwarders and/or warehouse team to track shipment/receiving status.
  • Review Affiliates/Distributor inventory DOH and highlight excess/short-dated stocks for disposition to facilitate cash flow improvement.
  • Review and raise Supply Change Request (SCR) within planning window.
  • Facilitate Supply Risk Analysis (SRA) (short term supply operations plan) for Affiliates and Division.
  • Provide feedback on data accuracy in Global opening inventory report and supply plan, drive to close issues which cause data inaccuracy.
  • Provide feedback on Supply Exception report to Order Management team.
  • Act as site co-ordinator for ADC in the region
  • Responsible for the maintenance of import and export records for ADC in the region.
  • Represent ADC region in SOP review.
  • Support audit activities as requested.
DEMAND OPERATIONS
  • Work with countries to ensure customer POs are received and processed on time
  • Maintain proper records and log of customer POs
  • Work with countries to ensure supply POs are received and processed on time
  • Perform backorder reporting
  • Complete paperwork or files to transfer, write off or adjust stock as needed
  • Review and reallocate supply for products when needed
  • Ensure clear communication between major customers / distributors and the organization.
  • Ensure clear communication between the planning centers with Global, Area and country affiliates
BUSINESS EXCELLENCE
  • Promote and drive continuous improvement processes within the organization.
OTHERS
  • Ad-hoc projects in relation to Demand and Inventory Management as assigned.
  • Work with IT to ensure data quality and integrity in various reports/systems.
Knowledge / Education Required:

Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations or Accounting.

Experience Required:
  • Minimum of 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a demand planning and/or supply chain
  • Responsible for inventory management in Affiliates
  • Material master set up in SAP.
  • Ensure inventory availability in affiliate warehouses, managing backorders and stock allocation
  • Ensure timely clearance of goods, including the coordination with regulatory affair team and import clearance team, various Free Trade Warehouse Zone (FTWZ) activities such as product stickering.
  • Ensure adequate level of inventory in the distribution channel and flag exceptionally low or high levels of inventory in the channels for discussion and resolution
  • Work with Affiliates to review supply plan issued by Global Supply team to identify supply gaps in supporting demand plan
