Regional Finance Analyst - Data and Statistical

Salary: $4000 - $5500

Working Days: 5 Days (830am - 515pm)

Location: Boon Lay

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will provide business critical reports for management. There will be heavy emphasis on completing and communicating the monthly reporting package to the Asia Leadership Team (ALT). Ensure our financial planning is healthy and profitable and aligns with business objectives.

Major Accountability:

• Improve financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management
• Analyze financial data by collecting, monitoring and creating financial models for decision support
• Analyze and report on current financial status
• Participate in budgeting/forecasting
• Oversee 1 Assistant Accountant

Job Responsibilities:

• Review accounting transactions for data accuracy
• Review and analyze monthly results vs. budget/forecast/prior year
• Upload monthly results to HFM
• Summarize and report key variances to ALT
• Compare anticipated and actual results and identify areas of improvement
• Forecasting monthly, quarterly and annual profits
• Develop and prepare weekly and monthly KPI\'s
• Utilizing key performance metrics, provide updates to financial outlook
• Prepare and distribute the monthly reporting package
• Maintain GL accounting and project setups aligned with global policy and accounting guidance
• Ovesee Account Receivables
• Complete ad-hoc requests as needed

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Finance or Accounting with work experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role
• Hands-on experience with financial and statistical software preferred
• Expertise in MS Excel (by using advanced formulas) and ability to present financial data using detailed reports and charts
• Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central or other major Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP) and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) is a plus
