Job Summary

This role oversees Advertising & Promotion (A&P) expense control, monthly financial closing, and Controlling and Profitability Analysis (COPA). You will ensure compliance with company policies, EFAS, FRS, and JSOX, while providing accurate financial insights to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

A&P Expense Control & Sales Rebates

Manage and monitor A&P budget (IO) and expense usage. Prepare A&P analysis reports and advise on accounting treatments. Review and verify sales rebates and A&P expense calculations.

Financial & Management Reporting

Handle monthly closing, journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and provisions. Prepare statutory financial statements and management reports (ECAS). Provide variance analysis between actuals and budget/forecast.

Controlling & Profitability Analysis (COPA)

Maintain and update cost/profit centre structures in line with business changes. Manage system distribution/assessment cycles and allocation ratios. Execute monthly SGA expense allocations after financial close.

Budgeting & Forecasting (BP/FC)

Collaborate with departments to gather BP/FC data. Ensure timely and accurate BP/FC ECAS submissions.

Provide detailed analysis of BP/FC reports.

Administration & Projects

Support process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives. Participate in ad-hoc projects when required.

Key Requirements

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented with excellent business acumen. Confident in engaging stakeholders across functions. Strong time management and ability to prioritize. Proactive, motivated, and a strong team player. Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems (SAP, TM1) preferred.
